If the roots of the tree had a consciousness separate from the leaves and branches,
Would they would be preoccupied with the gathering of water and minerals
Completely blind to the benefit of the light and the supersubstantial sustenance they receive from above?

Would their mode of reason and rationalism be confined to their atmosphere of soil?

Would they consider the world they perceive of mineral and moisture to be the ultimate reality And believe the only practical value is within what they can measure physically?

Human beings are the roots of entirely spiritual beings
Completely blind to the benefit of the light and the supersubstantial sustenance they receive from above.
